A new paradigm of urban living.
MASSLAB’s proposal for the Rising Ground Towers in Oporto City transcends the conventional urban project by introducing a visionary concept. The green corridor of the towers, extending from ground level to the pinnacle, seamlessly integrates nature and community. This project is poised to revolutionize perceptions of housing and urban living, setting a new standard for sustainable and community-centric development.
VISUAL DESIGN
Through our hyperrealistic virtual photos, we tried to conceptualize the dialogue between urban and natural environments, which is a defining feature of the MASSLAB proposal. This proposal elevates the public realm with dynamic, activity-filled spaces. The project’s design encourages a vibrant pedestrian experience at ground level, fostering a sense of community through shared amenities and recreational spaces.
NATURA / ARCHITETTURA
The integration of natural features throughout the parkland not only enhances the green urban landscape but also promotes sustainable urban development. A green corridor weaves through the plot sites, culminating at the lake, harmoniously connecting the entire landscape and fostering a sense of unity between nature and urban life.
UN NUOVO PARADIGMA ABITATIVO
By expanding the range of housing typologies, the project aims to provide smarter, more affordable living options that resonate with a broader demographic. Embracing a mix of generations and communities within a single structure fosters a sense of belonging and community spirit, enriching the social fabric of the development.
